YOUNG EYES IN EXPERT HANDS
Our eye examinations are suitable for even the youngest of eyes. Using age appropriate techniques we can carefully check your child’s visual development and eye health to detect any problems before they become an issue.
We aim to make our kids eye tests as relaxed and as friendly as possible and our knowledgeable staff have years of experience so are happy to answer any questions you may have.

We offer fully NHS funded examinations for children under 16 or teenagers under 19 in full time education.
As so much of a child’s learning and development is visual, regular eye examinations are the key to good vision. Children should have their first eye examination by the age of four, but it can be sooner if any problems are suspected.
Children often cannot tell what constitutes normal vision, so if you suspect they may be struggling please get in touch. We use a range of techniques and modern equipment to detect visual problems at any age so it does not matter if your child is able to read or talk.

DESIGNED FOR YOUNG FACES
If your child is found to need spectacles, either a full or part a contribution towards eyewear is provided by the NHS. We stock a range of eyewear created specifically for children with their facial proportions and active lifestyles taken into careful consideration.
Our team is experienced in fitting children’s glasses to ensure they are comfortable and will provide the best vision for your child.
